WGME TV Making A DIfference Segment

On January 5, 2018, Laurie and I took our granddaughter Scarlet to Mercy Hospital to meet her new baby brother, Carter. On the way up the elevator, she was very chatty and anxious to see her parents and Carter. Little did we know we would capture this photo of her beaming with pride as she held her brother for the first time.

Laurie snapped this photo of me sitting on Blue Heaven on "my independence day", July 3, 2017. We had just returned from Boston after having my feeding tube removed. Another milestone reached!

What a mess! This is my "tree" loaded with IV solutions, pumps, monitors and meds. Taken on April 25, 2017, this is actually mild compared to what it looked like after surgery on April 18!
